REPORTS TO MARKETING DIRECTOR Description The Marketing Associate is responsible for social media marketing, email marketing, and project management. Ideal candidate will have three or more years experience and strong written and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, and working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, database management, and website management is preferred. Experience in the arts and/or non-profits a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES General Working with the Marketing Director, participates to insure institutional and non-profit mission marketing objectives are met and integrated via shows, partners, residents, and activities. Provides support for concert/show, theater services, sales, development, educational, and/or institutional activities and projects as needed. Works on special projects, initiatives, promotions and other programs as needed. PR, Digital and Social Work directly with Marketing Director to prepare a social media plan, timelines and priorities for Center Presents and resident/rental events. Maximize events, press, promotions and executive outreach in the social media platforms. Coordinate email newsletter/announcements in line with individual event and institutional goals. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent related experience and/or training. Theater/live entertainment/destination/classical culture marketing field a plus. Proven experience and expertise in social media, email, and online marketing. Collaborative personality who is a team player. Innovative and creative thinker to generate maximum exposure for The Center and its residents/clients beyond traditional means.
