Maintenance Technician

Rendezvous Mountain Rentals is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a year-round position responsible for maintaining vacation rental properties and supporting the day-to-day maintenance needs of our lodging operation.

The ideal candidate will have a broad maintenance background, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while providing a high level of service to our owners and guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform general property maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Carpentry and general construction-related repairs
• Hot tub maintenance, water testing, and troubleshooting
• Basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance
• Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance concerns
• Respond to maintenance requests and operational needs in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and property concerns
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, owners, and guests as needed
• Assist with additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and preventative maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize work and complete assignments with minimal supervision
• Previous experience in resort, lodging, condominium, vacation rental, or property maintenance is preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Perform physically demanding maintenance work throughout the workday
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Safely use ladders and maintenance equipment
• Bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in confined or elevated spaces when necessary
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Safely work in winter conditions, including snow, ice, and cold temperatures
