About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our Growth Director and Events Director across all sales initiatives. This role is central to how we plan and execute events — from large weddings, corporate events, and fundraisers to private chef bookings, community events, and food truck bookings. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating across clients, planners, internal teams, and vendors, keeping details accurate, deadlines on track, and communication clear.

This role is task-oriented and fast-moving. Priorities can shift quickly depending on the stage of planning for each event, so the ideal candidate is energized by variety and a dynamic pace. You'll be balancing behind-the-scenes coordination with in-person, client-facing responsibilities on a regular basis.

This position begins as an hourly role with room to grow into a salary position as this individual takes on more responsibility within our sales and events operations.

Key Responsibilities

Menu & Event Materials

●      Keep menus updated across internal systems and client-facing materials

●      Design and print event menus using Canva software

Sales & Lead Management

●      Review incoming leads and decline those with date conflicts

●      Take on smaller leads once trained (events under 12 guests, bachelor/bachelorette parties)

Operations & Logistics

●      Manage rentals and linens for events

●      Manage the bakery order sheet (wholesale orders and event bakery orders)

Marketing Support

●      Coordinate marketing initiatives in collaboration with the internal team and Outpost Marketing

What We're Looking For

●      Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple, shifting priorities with time-sensitive requests

●      Strong communication skills with clients, partners, and internal teams

●      High attention to detail and strong organizational habits

●      Composure and clarity when communicating about mistakes or navigating difficult customer situations

●      A drive to identify and improve inefficient workflows

●      A collaborative, team-first mindset

●      Genuine interest in client-facing work

●      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google collaboration tools

Compensation

●      Hourly $25-$30 DOE

●      Part time

●      Opportunity to expand to full time
