Job Description

The Event Support Team supports a wide range of on-call and special events, including holiday celebrations, private club functions, and signature occasions throughout the year. This is an event-based, flexible role suited to hospitality professionals who enjoy variety, perform well in fast-paced settings, and take pride in delivering memorable guest experiences. Team members may be hired as bartenders, servers, server assistants, and bussers, setup and breakdown staff, or general event support. Actual duties vary by assigned role and event. All team members contribute to smooth event execution, attentive guest service, and well-maintained service areas. Schedules are variable and typically include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions

  • Provide attentive, professional, and courteous service to guests and members throughout each event.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, bars, and decor according to event specifications.
  • Maintain clean, organized, sanitary, and safe service and work areas before, during, and after events.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other event staff to support seamless event execution.
  • Follow all applicable food-handling, beverage-service, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Respond promptly and respectfully to guest requests, questions, and needs.
  • Adhere to assigned dress code, grooming, and appearance standards.
  • Remain on your feet, stand, and walk for extended periods during a shift.
  • Lift, carry, push, or move items of light to moderate weight as required by the role.
  • Role-specific essential duties:
    • Bartenders: Prepare and serve beverages accurately and responsibly, verify guest eligibility for alcohol service, and engage with guests in a professional manner.
    • Servers: Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately, anticipate guest needs, and ensure timely, polished table service.
    • Server Assistants and Bussers: Clear, reset, and maintain tables and service stations to support continuous service flow.
    • Setup and Breakdown Staff: Transport, install, and remove event furnishings, equipment, and decor safely and efficiently.

Marginal Functions

  • Assist other departments as needed during peak periods or staffing gaps.
  • Restock supplies, linens, glassware, and service items between or during events.
  • Perform cleaning tasks beyond primary station or assigned area.
  • Help with miscellaneous event support tasks as directed.
  • Transport equipment, supplies, or furnishings between storage, staging, and service areas.
  • Assist with basic inventory counts or supply checks.
  • Participate in pre-event briefings, walk-throughs, or short training sessions.
  • Support venue resets and post-event organization once primary duties are complete.

 

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
The position operates mostly outdoors around the club through all weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, and other injury-related hazards.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This may be a Full-time, Part-time, or On-Call, and seasonal position. Days and hours of work are based on availability and need. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and days and nights, with flexible hours. The schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments. 

Travel 

  • There may be minimal travel within the valley.

Required Education and Experience

High school Diploma

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Prior event experience

  1. Must be able to speak fluent English.
  1. Must be able to represent themselves in a positive and professional manner that will promote the club features and activities.

 

Work Authorization

Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
