We are a small, founder/developer-led team in Jackson, WY hiring a Creator Partnerships, Sales & Support Associate
The role. This role plays a key role supporting multiple functional areas of ingOutdoors across Partnerships, Sales, and User Tech Support. As ingOutdoors grows, the amount of time you spend in each of these areas will shift and change.
You’ll primarily spend your time onboarding adventure creators. When an adventure content creator, educator, or a brand agrees with our Founder to collaborate with ingOutdoors, you own everything that follows: onboarding, storefront setup, getting their content live and selling, and keeping them actively promoting their presence on the ingOutdoors Adventure Ecosystem Globe. You are the person that content creators, educators, institutions and brands rely on, with every relationship tracked and followed up.
You will also be the person helping the leadership team follow up on leads and prospects from events and be our first line of user technical support. In the early phase, consumer platform user questions about the expedition planning toolkit and the marketplace will come to you. When user tech support demand grows, we will hire an additional, dedicated role for that.
You are. Highly organized, able to run many relationships and a support queue without dropping either. A fast learner of new software who can then teach it. A clear communicator who follows through consistently. Self-directed enough to build and run your own system in a small company. Must be passionate about and involved in outdoor adventuring.
CRM ownership. Hands-on experience running a CRM (customer relationship management system — the software of record for every contact, conversation, commitment, and follow-up). We run on Attio; direct Attio experience is a strong plus, and proven ownership of a comparable modern CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or a Notion/Airtable-built system) is required — building pipelines and views, logging every interaction, setting follow-up tasks, and keeping the data clean enough that anyone on the team can trust it.
Partner onboarding, end to end. You have taken a newly signed partner, creator, or client from "yes" to fully live: account setup, profile/storefront configuration, first content published, launch checklist complete — and you can show a repeatable process you built or ran.
Sales Administrative Support: Follow up on prospects and leads from events to set up meetings with the founder or other members of the leadership teams.
Support queue management. Experience handling inbound user questions through a shared inbox or help desk tool (for example Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, or Front): triaging by urgency, resolving or escalating, hitting response-time targets, and turning repeat questions into written answers.
How-to documentation and teaching. You can learn a new software product fast, then teach it: step-by-step written guides, annotated screenshots, and short screen-recording walkthroughs (e.g., Loom) that a non-technical creator can follow without a call.
Creator-platform fluency. Working knowledge of how creators actually operate and earn on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and/or Strava — posting cadence, audience engagement, affiliate and sponsorship basics — so you can coach partners to keep promoting their ingOutdoors presence.
Pipeline and activity reporting. Comfortable in spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel): tracking partner activity, support volume, and content-launch status, and giving the Founder a clear weekly picture without being asked.
Written and verbal communication. Excellent, detail-accurate writing in a professional, warm tone — most of this job happens in writing, to partners and to users.
Outdoor adventure grounding. Genuine personal involvement in backcountry or expeditionary activities, and enough familiarity with trip planning to speak credibly with guiding outfits, route-builders, and gear brands.
Mapping and geospatial tools. Familiarity with GPX files (the standard file format for sharing GPS routes and tracks) and tools like CalTopo, Gaia GPS, onX, or Google Earth — our marketplace is built on geospatial storytelling, and you'll help creators get routes and rich media live.
Basic media handling. Light photo/video editing and file-management skills for helping partners polish storefront content.
Community management. Experience moderating or growing an online community, forum, or ambassador program.
Relevant education or experience in outdoor education, marketing, communications, or community management.
