National Elk Refuge/Irrigation

The National Elk Refuge provides, preserves, restores, and manages winter habitat for the nationally significant Jackson Elk Herd as well as habitat for endangered species, birds, fish, and other mammals.

Join the team at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Elk Refuge in Jackson, WY as a member of the irrigation team. Although this position is located on the National Elk Refuge, it is not a Federal Government position. These positions include assisting with the operation and maintenance of a state of the art K-Line irrigation system, which irrigates approximately 4,000 acres of grasslands on the National Elk Refuge that serve as crucial winter range habitat for elk and bison.
