Slow Food in the Tetons is a Jackson, WY based 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a chapter of Slow Food USA and part of the international Slow Food movement. Our mission is to grow the local and regional sustainable food system by supporting producers, educating consumers and connecting them together in the spirit of good, clean and fair food. We envision a world of good, clean and fair food for all.
Slow Food in the Tetons builds a stronger local food system through its year-round farmers market and seasonal farm stand, grows the Slow Food Movement from seed with cooking and gardening classes and summer camps, and increases access to fresh nutrient dense food through its community gardens, printed and online local food directory, and its "double up" Veggie Voucher Program. Slow Food also hosts a food festival in October and several community dinners across all seasons to bring people together in celebration of good, clean and fair food.
