Y2 Consultants, founded in 2011 by Brenda Younkin and Zia Yasrobi, has offices in Jackson, Cheyenne, and Pinedale. Our team brings over 35 years of project experience with civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical, and electrical engineering; community, transportation, and land planning; spatial proficiencies including surveying, mapping and GIS; natural resources management; and construction management services.
Since its inception in 2011, Y2 Consultants (Y2) of Jackson acquired Pierson Landworks of Jackson, and Western Research & Development of Cheyenne. These mergers expanded the inter-disciplinary capabilities offered in-house, improved capability to serve clients across Wyoming, and further enabled the cost-effective delivery of innovative engineering, planning, survey, and natural resources services.
Y2 provides comprehensive support services from initial feasibility and planning, all the way through supporting our clients during final construction. The extensive project portfolio of our team includes planning and design of new and existing roadways, water and sewer infrastructure, stormwater systems, site permitting and design, environmental review, cost estimating, water rights and permitting, structural design and analysis, construction monitoring, and natural resource planning. In short, Y2 team members have specialized in assisting communities across the state of Wyoming and neighboring states for decades.
