Title: Staff Accountant
Reports To: CFO
Job Summary: The Staff Accountant's responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Sets up and maintains vendor accounts, ensuring compliance with W9 and 1099 reporting requirements
· Reviews, verifies, and processes vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and coding.
· Verifies and completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
· Assists in month-end closing by reconciling accounts payable and preparing accruals
