The Tree and Landscape Company is looking for an Assistant Manager to help with the daily operations of the Maintenance Department. This person must be familiar with aspects of landscape maintenance including irrigation, operating equipment, cleanups, mowing, mulching, pruning, trimming, edging, weed-whacking, bed maintenance, fertilizing, chemical applications, etc.. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision while helping to direct maintenance crews in a safe and efficient manner. This position must also be able to review and approve all the administrative requirements for the crews. The Assistant Manager will predominantly be working in an office setting but they must be able to lift at least 50lbs and have the mobility to assist with equipment/material delegations at the start of each work day. Job Description The Lead Mechanic plans, organizes, schedules, assigns, and evaluates the work of subordinates and provides training and counseling as needed.  Assures adequate supplies, materials and equipment are available to crew; orders supplies, and materials as needed.
