The role of the Executive Director is to assist the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Joint Powers Board (JHTTB) in fulfilling its mission and vision. Traditionally the main destination marketing organization for Teton County, WY, the JHTTB has expanded its role to include a greater emphasis on destination management and visitor education. This expansion broadens the definition of success to not only include the health of the economy, but that of the community, environment, and visitor experience. It is the Executive Director’s role to incorporate these considerations into every element of the position.
As such, the Executive Director acts as the primary liaison to the Town and County elected officials and all community partners who work with, or plan to work with, the JHTTB.
