Night Audit

The Night Audit position at Caldera House requires an individual that is ambitious, hardworking, and can crunch numbers in between responding to guests' needs.  The Night Auditor is responsible for End of Day procedures, accounting functions, and overnight security.  This position works autonomously with no one to assist them, in performing the daily tasks of check ins/check outs, basic accounting, and performing necessary tasks.  

Essential Job Functions

• Greet guests on arrival, perform check-ins, provide bell service and any other information the guest may need
• Schedule wake up calls and reservations for the following day, deliver newspapers or early breakfast deliveries
• Respond to guests' housekeeping related questions, maintain cleanliness of public spaces
• Answer phones and provide information over the phone
• Create and send a Shift Report at the conclusion of each shift
• Run EOD processes
• Prepare guest bills for the following day's checkouts and process reservation cards
• Balance any cash drawers and record receipts
• Complete Alice daily checklists
• Be familiar with and maintain hotel safety and security standards
• Be prepared to manage overnight guests in an emergency situation
