As we continue to grow our operations, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Retail Operations Assistant.

Job Summary:

As the Entry-Level Retail Operations Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail store and direct-to-consumer business. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and assist in various tasks to ensure smooth workflow, exceptional customer service, and efficient retail operations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the e-commerce and food/ag industry and contribute to our mission of providing customers with exceptional game meat products.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Retail Operations Manager in coordinating and executing daily retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability and implementing inventory control procedures.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the retail space to create an inviting and visually appealing shopping environment.
• Assist in providing excellent customer service, including answering customer inquiries, processing transactions, and addressing customer concerns.
• Collaborate with the retail team to ensure accurate pricing, labeling, and placement of products.
• Aid in the implementation of promotional campaigns and initiatives, such as product displays and signage.
• Assist in conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for customer service and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions effectively.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail software and point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Knowledge or interest in sustainable food practices and ethical sourcing is advantageous.

Compensation: $25/hour, employee discount, paid lunch break.  Work days and hours are flexible and will be discussed in interview.  Please note your availability in cover letter.
