The Institute for Ethnomedicine, doing business as the Brain Chemistry Labs, is an innovative nonprofit that seeks to discover new treatments for brain diseases such as Alzheimer's, ALS, and Parkinson's disease. With a state-of-the-art laboratory in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, we have assembled a team of researchers who are working tirelessly to find and fight causes of these diseases. Over the last decade, the Brain Chemistry Labs has discovered an environmental neurotoxin that causes Alzheimer's-like symptoms. Our basic research has led to the initiation of FDA-approved Phase II clinical trials.
